A really special film, “On Our Way” had its world premiere at the Black Nights Festival in Tallinn. Written, directed by, and starring Sophie Lane Curtis, “On Our Way” is a film within a film, and as we pull back the layers we go deeper into the subconscious of the two leads and star-crossed lovers. Co-starring Michaél Richardson, Keith Powers, James Badge Dale, Jordana Brewster, Paul Ben-Victor, Vanessa Redgrave, and Franco Nero, it’s a star-studded cast in the hands of a new director. Sound played such an important role in the direction of the narrative as the viewer leaps through time and space, dream and reality, South Fork, France, and an Arctic labyrinth of the mind. It was a thrill to work on a film imbued with so much meaning. I’m looking forward to the next chapter for this film and bringing it to a wider audience!
